The University of Jeddah is one of the newest universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, established in 1435 AH (2014 CE) through Royal Decree No. 20937, dated 2/6/1435 AH. The decree approved the decision of the Higher Education Council in its 72nd session, held on 4/6/1434 AH, to establish the University of Jeddah.
