The University of Jeddah is one of the newest universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, established in 1435 AH (2014 CE) by Royal Decree No. 20937, dated 2/6/1435 AH. The decree approved the decision of the Higher Education Council made during its 72nd session, held on 4/6/1434 AH, to establish the University of Jeddah.

Guidelines for Implementing Initiatives

Maintain the university's reputation and standing in all publications and advertisements related to the initiatives.
The supervisor of the initiative must be a faculty member or an administrative staff member from the college.
The initiative supervisor must present all publications and materials related to the initiative to the head of the unit for approval before dissemination.
Initiatives must be submitted via the unit's email at least four weeks prior to the proposed implementation date.
Adhere to the university's rules and regulations when collaborating with external entities.
Submit a report on the initiative to the unit's email within two weeks of its completion.
Conduct a survey to gather beneficiaries' feedback on the implemented initiative and include the survey results in the report submitted to the volunteer work coordinator after the initiative's execution.

Volunteer Rights in Voluntary Work or Participation in Community Initiatives

Being informed about the objectives of the activity and the expected outcomes.
Receiving a clear explanation of the tasks and expectations assigned to the volunteer or participant.
Being provided with a detailed description of the duties assigned and the expected contributions.
Assigning each volunteer or participant tasks that align with their abilities and capabilities.
Clearly outlining the time commitment required from the volunteer or participant for the selected initiatives.
Being treated with respect and granted the confidence to carry out the agreed-upon responsibilities and duties.
