College of Education

Over the past four decades, the College of Education has implemented numerous programs and initiatives across various educational and pedagogical fields. These efforts have significantly contributed to the preparation of many qualified professionals working within the education sector. The College comprises five academic departments: the Department of Special Education, the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the Department of Educational Technology and Design, the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, and the Department of Early Childhood Education.

    Research and Innovation

    The Physical Education and Self-Defense Program has been accredited under the Blended E-Learning License.

    The "Physical Education and Self-Defense" program has been granted the Blended Learning License by the National Center for E-Learning. This program, offered at the University of Jeddah, integrates in-person lectures with online sessions.
    Dr. Marwa Zaki has been awarded first place in the Rashid Bin Humaid Award for Culture and Science.

    Dr. Marwa Zaki from the College of Education at the University of Jeddah has achieved first place in the 40th session of the Rashid Bin Humaid Award for Culture and Science in the United Arab Emirates for the year 2023-2024. Her award-winning research is titled "The Impact of Augmented Reality Technology on Psychological Resilience Among High School Students During Educational Crises."
